Ideas To Make Children-s Books More Interactive

Some kids just get bored when books are just plain old read to them. Their attention span isn’t all that great. So, if you are going to keep them entertained and asking you to read them another story, you have to look at some ideas to make children’s books more interactive. Here is where you can learn what to do.
Changing voices is one great way to make them interactive. Kids love when you use a different voice. Think about when you have to listen to people speak. The monotone voice is something that causes even an adult to lose interest.
Another thing you can do is get them acting out parts of the book. For instance, there are some books that are like the shows they watch. So, they have children jumping and flying like a bird. If for instance a girl in the book is running, have them run in place.
The last thing you can do to make it more interactive is making them use their imagination. Ask questions as you read to them. Ask them what they think so and so looked like or what they think might happen next. You would be amazed at how well they take interest then. These are things you can do when you are reading to children. Get them engaged.
