Bouncing Ball Books is one of the new kids on the block in the world of children's story book publishers. Based in Miami, we are a small, independent publisher. Though we specialize in story books for children, we also publish novels, short stories, and non-fiction for adult readers. We have great plans for expanding our catalog. There are currently two books available in our Sharp-Eye series, featuring a delightful bug detective and his friends and family who live in the Weeki-Wachee Swamp in Florida. Six more books are on the way, taking Sharp-Eye to Paris, Bombay, Tasmania, and Hawaii. In the final installment, Sharp-Eye even takes on invaders from outer space! Poetry books are beloved by children and adults. We plan to publish a collection of poetry books for both groups. We are also anticipating a section of children's books in Spanish. In addition to being read by Spanish-speaking families, these books can help children who are learning Spanish, and even adults who want to learn the language. Our children's story books have a distinctive look that sets them apart from all the rest. The colorful illustrations are hand drawn and in Rebecca Bell's books, the text is written by hand.
