Bouncing Ball Books, as a small independent publisher, brings you something new and different in kids' story books. Our current collection includes a series by Florida writer Rebecca Bell, offering a personal, non-corporate look in books lettered and illustrated by hand. You won't find computerized fonts and generic illustrations in these charming books. And even though they're affordably priced, they are presented in quality hard covers with durable heavy-duty stitched binding to withstand the many readings they will surely get. There are currently two volumes available in Rebecca's Sharp-Eye series, our premier story book series. Six more all-new adventures are coming soon. Jacob, a rather ordinary boy bug, discovers resources within himself that lead him to become Sharp-Eye, detective extraordinaire and hero of the insect world. His home is in the Weeki Wachee Swamp, but forthcoming adventures take him all over the world. Kids can learn about France, India, Hawaii, and Australia while enjoying Sharp-Eye's rollicking adventures. Princess Sara tells the story of a spirited young princess who yearns to discover her heart's desire. In Capitano Ricco, a boy named Richard daydreams of being a pirate, sailing the seven seas, and discovering hidden treasure, accompanied by his friend Jennifer, a.k.a. Capitana Jenna. Their friendship endures until adulthood in this charming story. Rebecca Bell is a retired school teacher. She grew up near the Weeki Wachee Swamp, which now serves as home base for her character Sharp-Eye.
