Miami Book Fair International November 17-19, 2006
 Bouncing Ball Books opening at the Miami Book Fair International 2006 was a complete success. The small independent publisher presented ten new titles ranging from emergent reader full color storybooks for children to adult novels laced with mystery. Business Manager, Denek Salich, reports that Florida’s newest publisher made a small profit from the book sales, “We are excited about the interest the public showed for our titles. Particularly, we are motivated to publish titles in 2007 of our children’s books in the Spanish language. We have scheduled to release the Spanish titles for Ick The Stick - Book 1 and Storms Tunes - Book 2 of the Yes, I Can Read Nature Series! written by Tabatha D’Agata and illustrated by Judy Lineberger and A Regular Bug – Book 1 and Message From Miami – Book 2 of The Adventures of Sharp-Eye book series written and illustrated by Rebecca Bell for purchase at the Miami International Book Fair 2007.” It is clear that Bouncing Ball Books is listening to the people of Miami as they develop their marketing program.
 A highlight of the Bouncing Ball Books booth was the appearance of Princess Sara. One of the children’s titles written and illustrated by Bouncing Ball Books’ premier author, Rebecca Bell, is Princess Sara. This adorable children’s storybook for young readers tells the tale of a princess who experiences growing pains. After a perilous walk, Princess Sara is rescued and “lives happily ever after. ” Princess Sara appeared Saturday November 18th and Sunday November 19th at the booth. Bouncing Ball Books took over 200 digital photographs of Princess Sara posing with little princesses and little pirates who visited the booth. The families received an emailed digital photo, for free, that night on the email address that they provided. This was an outstanding community service project.
Miami’s own debut author Sunday Lee, Stories From South Beach, was at the Bouncing Ball Books booth to meet the public and offered book signing as well as delightful conversation and answers to questions about the writing process and what it is like to be a published author.
